Healing requires us to remember our experiences, to suffer the emotions associated with them, and finally, to integrate these experiences into a larger life narrative. It is a process of deconstruction – expressing and validating our feelings, embracing all our parts, and breaking down and expelling what isn’t serving us. Healing our trauma wounds is a path back to self.
