Amber Patronyk, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Amber Patronyk is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Santa Barbara. She is trained in attachment focused EMDR therapy. Before working with the Family Counseling and Trauma Healing Center, Amber worked as a counselor with New Beginnings Counseling Center, a 501 (c)3 non profit where she served individuals struggling to overcome trauma. For the last three years she worked as a group facilitator for AHA!, an organization that promotes social-emotional learning, peace building and connections with teenagers and educators across Santa Barbara County. Amber also has experience as an in school therapist for Santa Barbara Unified School District, where she worked with children ages 8yrs-17yrs., helping students learn to self regulate, find their inner wisdom and achieve their academic goals.
