Brian Gleason, PhD, LMFT

Dr. Brian Gleason (MFT, PhD) brings more than 20 years of psychotherapy experience to his work, with specializations in depth psychology, trauma healing, drug and alcohol dependency, and LGBT issues. As a clinician, he believes in meeting clients where they are and helping them go where they want to go. Like the character Mentor from Homer's Odyssey, he mentors, provides therapy, and approaches the client with unconditional positive regard; knowing, like Mentor, that the genius inside of us all wants passionately to come out. He is also an activist and the author of Letters to Young Gay Men (available at www.tiachuchas.org/books) and the writer of the film Rise Up and Shout (available on Amazon). He resides in Los Angeles and Santa Ynez.
