Bodywork -

I am an adamant believer in the body’s ability to heal and balance itself with the correct support and nourishment. At the heart of every modality is a study of stagnation and flow. My approach is integrative through a cross cultural perspective, which allows me to tailor my sessions specifically to what the clients need in the moment - mind, body & spirit.

My journey officially began as a yoga instructor - and it was really more because I loved the studio and wanted to deepen my practice. I started with a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at Laughing Lotus when I lived in New York, this continued into a second Yoga Teacher Training at Core Power when I moved to San Francisco and as I taught and gained more experience I found I loved the body and energy! I soon found myself in Thailand studying Thai Massage at the International Training Massage School. While there I also delved into Reflexology, Cupping, Reiki, Tok Sen and Gua Sha.

Once I moved back to the states I continued my studies and found The Genius of Flexibility in Santa Barbara where I studied Resistance Flexibility and Strength Training up to Level III. Combining the modalities of yoga and bodywork, I found there were so many connections and overlaps which led me to study myofascial release with Beth Bauchamp in New Zealand. While living there I met an incredible group of healers and had the good fortune to study Honohono Honohono (up to level II) with Dion Freeman, owner and founder of Healing Aotearoa.

I’ve studied Reiki with various masters and completed two separate Reiki Master Trainings, as well as the complete Integrative Quantum Medicine curriculum with creator Louise Mita in New Zealand and Hawaii. I completed my 500hr Yoga Teacher Training with Alanna Kaivalya's Kaivalya Method and have added to the richness of my yoga teachings with courses in biodiversity (Ross Rayburn), inclusion and diversity (Third Root Community Health Center, NY), trauma informed practices (lululemon athletica NZ), and grief yoga (Paul Denniston).
While back in California I've completed a 500 hr Massage Therapy Training with the California Holistic Institute, deepening my learnings with Hot Stone Therapy, Pregnancy massage, Myofascial release with David Goldeen, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Acupressure, Trigger Point, Craniosacral Therapy, Zen Thai Touch/Zen Touch Shiatsu, Injury Management, Shiatsu, Touch for Health, Sports Massage, + more. I've also continued my body studies with Sarga and Upledger's Craniosacral Therapy. Thank you for taking the time to read my novel of a journey thus far. At the moment I have my eyes set on Traditional Chinese Medicine as my next study, so stay tuned for more to follow! https://echophoenixwellness.wixsite.com/heal
